So it went through? I don't want to play the "schedule" card, but the Dodgers do have a harder remaining schedule than the Giants, so I don't see this move helping much. Gonzalez is the only guy I see helping the Dodgers win, Boston just forced Crawford and Beckett in the deal to let the Dodgers eat up their contracts.

If it goes through, they're better than they were before the trade. Gonzalez knows the West and Beckett (even though he's having a TERRIBLE SEASON) would benefit from pitching in the NL and adds depth. That lineup, with protection for their key hitters can be fucking scary.
They're only half a game or so out of the playoffs, and I'd take Kershaw and can see them getting it together for a good post season run.
I hope they fucking lose though, what they're doing is silly.
Also, LOLZ that they have the same record as my A's with a payroll that is 12345678times larger.

Yea, Gonalez I'm worried about, but even if say Beckett comes back to his good form, that really only leaves him and Kershaw as their ace/1-2 in their rotation. Rest of the pitchers in the Dodger's rotation are more of 4 or 5 quality starters. Other than Timmy's shitty season (albeit he seems to be getting his shit together somewhat) and Zito being half decent this season, I'd go with the Giants' rotation over the Dodger's any day, and we all know pitching gets you deep in the playoffs.

LOL@The Angels...they'll probably catch the A's, but I KNOW they know they shouldn't even have to be in this position.

woooohoooooo sox vs angels today!!!!! in the ten years i've seen red sox games at angel stadium, i've never seen em lose.... well today may be the first. i show up head to toe red sox none the less! i'll be good to see how they all interact with the new line up, but(t) fuck Bobby Valentine...
