coming from an indoor and wishing for something with a similar flex and mentioned profile, doa flex = 5, that means quite alot....i am not sold on the graphics quite yet but i am sure it's rad in person

I saw someone riding next years ultrafear at bear today. Flat center with 2cm raise that starts after the inserts. Good lookin board :)

i have no problems with extruded but prefer sintered. i don't want to go softer than the bsod anyway, i think it's pretty spot on for what i've been wanting, personally. wish it had more camber though...

Riding hardpack and ice, I cant tell the difference in speed. Actually much prefer extruded's for the durability. My sintered bases always look like junk after 2 days of riding and get all gouged up. #ekproblems

I have personally never noticed a difference in speed between the 2. Not saying there isn't a difference, just saying I havent felt it. As far as repairability, i have never found a base i couldnt fix.... Gonna be a hard choice between the Ultra 151 and the DOA 152 for me. Also, showing the whole C3 line this week, gonna be fun

sintered is the one that's more durable. extruded is softer and gets gouged easier.Extrudeds are the ones marketed as more "durable". Sintered is supposed to be more "dense" (harder) but no fucking way do they gouge less than extruded. Every extruded I've ever had holds up a million times better. My sintered bases get gouged so damn easily by rocks/ice/etc.
Maybe its the same principle as denser/harder metals. Yes, they're harder but they're more brittle.

i have the complete opposite experience and that's the first time i've heard that before.. first time for everything?
all my extrudeds have been gouged easily, and all my sintereds at some point have hit things hard that should have gouged, but if there was even any mark at all it was minimal.
