This is about regular, non-shreddy gnar gnar movies. We've had a worst movies thread, now post up what you've seen recently that you just can't stop telling people about.

I just watched YPF - Young People Fucking. Hilarious comedy about 5 sets of people (friends, exes, roommates, first date, couple) told through one of their sexual encounters. Sums up their whole relationship in one night. Grab it if you can find it - Canadians and those with Netflix will have the best luck. So awkward, so funny, so true.

the jacket was one of those i think i watched at the wrong time - you know, when you realize it's good, but you just can't get into it? a lot of it was filmed in northern vermont, too.

i recently watched a film that i personally think is one of the best i've ever seen. i didn't see how old it is so i don't know if it counts as 'recent' or not. it's an animated film called 'waltz with bashir'. i know that animated is not for everyone, and this movie is sort of weird animation as well but it is such a powerful film that i urge you to watch it if you haven't.

see? this is good. some of these films, like away we go, were on my must see list already, but i was fence sitting on waltz with bashir. i think i have been pushed over now.

since i have netflix streaming, i watch a lot of movies. i saw a really great documentary on simon wiesenthal, the "nazi hunter" last night, called I Have Never Forgotten You. really amazing how someone could dedicate their life to bringing nazis to justice without letting the wounds of the past consume them.

First off I do not think that "Boondock Saints II" fits the other movies mentioned here.

If you haven't seen it, go watch Moon. That one is probably my favourite film of the year so far.
