If you follow snowboarding you know that the industry isn’t that big nor is the market as vast as say the automotive industry and all its subsidiaries.

I'm pretty new to Snowboarding and really didn't understand why DC was making boards or really cared to understand. I'm sure they make good boards, it just didn't particularly interest me, maybe others new to the sport feel the same way.
Also a lot of big box sporting good stores don't seem to carry them in my area, only my LBS and they didn't seem to sell last year and were practically given away at the end of the season.
I'd be devastated if they got out of the skateboard industry, but snow? Meh. Maybe they shoulda stuck to footwear.

the only thing cool that dc has ever done as a brand was sponsor Travis Parker and Rice and put them in a video together.

I know many of you are not a fan of Biittner but I like his riding style (not clothing) Was really underwhelmed by his GoodLook part though. Wonder where he will go -

Forum for 2013 (then to Burton for the 2014 slopestyle olympics) & Deeluxe, respectively.Torstein's going to be on Lobster.
Nah I'm joking he has the power and the influence on the industry to start his own company.
I think Nitro should sign Torstein, they lost Wiig to forum and they should commit to Torstein. Nitro sales would go through the roof.

Spent the day at the mountain lab a couple years ago for a jonas carlson cover shoot (snowboarder mag? i think) Glad I was able to experience it (mostly jibbed around in the front yard), thats one thing I have crossed off the bucket list.... Shame it wasnt meant to last.
