editing wouldnt save it. theres a reason you always see clips of filmers with fisheyes getting their lenses bonked by the riders. get as close as you can to action, without getting your lense scratched of course.

Get that fisheye up in there. Closer the better. That's one advantage of dslrs is the cheap fisheye so you dont have to stick a thosand dollar lens inches from your subject.

Keep working on exposure and color balance. You could still fix some more in post but you are improving none the less.

what are you looking for in way of a lens? Prime? UWA? Telephoto? Replace the kit lens?

the cheapest decent lens to replace the kit lens would be the tamron 17-50mm f/2.8. More than sharp enough for video and a nice constant aperture. If you get the VC version it adds some nice image stabilization as well. You can get the non-vc version for under $400 and the vc for about a hundred more.

Out of curiousity... with a t2i or other dslr that ppl use for video, do ppl mount them on one of those stabilizing hand mount things for camcorders?

Never actually seen someone filming with a dslr at my hill. Suppose theres no reason why you couldnt do it but it seems weird when I picture it.

yeah for follow cams I use a handle. I configured one out of parts from my shoulder rig. I also use a glidecam sometimes when i want a little different look.

I love that you kept the sound. most edits have the noise from the clips drowned out by the music or muted. For some reason it was refreshing to hear the sounds of snowboarding. good edit for sure.
