    Ventilation in the shell?   

    I had a brief look in a couple of shops, and some of the brands are offering ventilation in the shell (bit like Goretex panels) that let the moisture out. Any word on how well this works?

    I recall that the Burton Ion has them above the toe box, 32 seems to have them on the side around the calf.

     i doubt they do anything. liners are thick and not overly breathable

     the only things I've seen like this are DC's aerotech and burton's dryride toebox
