Ok guys, so I think my computer has a virus...I remeber people talking about the trojan virus going around on this site. Yesterday my trend micro was going haywire and now its virus protection won't turn on. It says it won't open because windows cant verify the program. Now whenever I use google I'll click on a link and itll take me to some random site.
Anybody know whats going on?

Thanks, I downloaded the trojan hunter demo and am running it. It says its found two trojan thingys (my tech word) and in all the writing stuff it says something about it being in trend micro so I think its attacking my trend micro security.
I keep getting this windows alert

also its not always trojan hunter I think it came up just cause i donwloaded it...sometimes its other crap

This is what i would do... and it almost always works for me..
Restart your computer and repeatedly press f8 when your pc is rebooting.
Select Safe mode with networking.
From there let the computer start up.
Go online and download Malware Bytes from here.
It's free and usually does the trick.
Install it and run it. Quick scan usually works. From there just follow the prompts.

Didn't work started scan got an error closed program can't reopen it... -

So nothing will remove it, itll find it but won't quarantine it or the trojan will close and lock up the program...guess i gotta take it in

did you run the program in safe modeAlso it helps to rename the program file, so for example normally it's program.exe, rename to program123.exe that way the virus can't find the program and block it.

yea I ran it in saft mode...it just like closes them during the scan and locks em up and then i have to reinstall it...it says windows cant open this cause it cant verify identity blah blah blah....If i rename my trend security will i be able to open it then?
