So ever since the whole Trojan issue a few weeks back, I've been having a problem every day since the maintenance/fix was done.
Probably once in every ten page clicks I get a "cannot connect to server" error. The error is not generated on EL's webserver, meaning its not application layer error (php, etc). It's just a generic error indicating a connection problem (networking) to the server.
If I hit refresh immediately after, it works fine. It also seems to happen a lot more frequently when posting/editing a post. Happens at least half the time in that situation. Seems like something is crapping out when "posting" data to the server. The funny thing is the data posted does actually reach the server, it just fails to display the page after submitting the post and again just a generic "connection to server blah blah could not be established".
Anyone else seeing this?
I'm online (work from home) from 8am to midnight most days (manage a team in the US and in Asia) and never see this issue with any other website, yet see this constantly with EL every single day, all day long ever since the "fix" a few weeks back (didnt happen while all the Windows users were complaining about the Trojan).
I'm also remoted in to work all day long and if I had any intermittent drops from my isp connection, I'd get instantly disconnected from my work vpn. Never happens. Besides my imac, I also have this issue with EL when I'm on my laptop and not connected to work.
