Worked on some methods today, and also managed to throw a BS shifty to tail tap a road cone they had hanging. So fun!
Day 5 in NZ. One more then my next shred day will be Utah early season.

I can't wait for day 1...
By the way, I get 3 free day passes to multiple resorts because I bought a season pass at Ski Apache.
If anyone rides: Monarch Mountain, Ski Cooper, Powderhorn, AngelFire or Sipapu. You should let me know if you're down for a meat-up. I'll plan a trip to any of those places, I've never ridden at any of those resorts so if anyone has input of which ones are good enough to go to please share.
Angle-Fire I know for sure I will be going to a couple times this season. -

Angle-Fire I know for sure I will be going to a couple times this season.i'll shred ski cooper with you. epic cat shredding. the mtn itself is very small. powerhorn is small and pretty flat and in grand junction. gross.

snow has come down to around 2k feet judging by this photo... snow line has been getting lower every day. i heard it was puking snow above 2600' the other day from someone who was hiking...

can't get up there unless you wanna go on a real trek
jeremy just texted me and said there's a half inch of slush up at eaglecrest and still snowing.. base is 1200' and peak is 2600' so it's coming down!

i need a rock board, haha. i'm planning on not riding til rock boards don't matter though, mostly just cause i don't want to risk anything with the knee when it's not even any good. it's strong enough but i would still like about another month of conditioning. i do wanna go up and be the media guy for my friends, though

i get more stoked on one good photo sometimes than i do a whole day of riding. it varies a lot but the point is that it's not a chore, i genuinely like doing it. plus i get a hike out of it and a day spent outdoors, sounds like a package deal to me

And while I didn't go slide around on that stuff from the first little storm that slipped through a week and a half ago now or so, I am officially posting my Day #1 whether any of yous like it or not.
That's because I put the first log on a fire for the upcoming Tahoe winter in my girlfriend's fireplace.....

I've got 1 trip booked to Avoriaz for sometime in Dec/Jan I think (mates sorting it), with another one planned for Feb, and then a last minute job somewhere with snow in March/April.
Now, I just need to find the £1500 or so all this will cost me (and more).

ill, you should check Tignes one day and try to stay 2 weeks if that's possible, 2nd week is significantly cheaper because you only pay for 1 roundtrip from home and back ofcourse, can get package including ski pass and acomodation for 250-300€per week, love Tignes

Saalbach, Tignes (i know it's pronounced teeeen, but i like saying Tig Ness) and Mayrhofen are on the list, but haven't yet done a quarter of Avoriaz/Morzine/Porte du Soleil so need to crack on with that.

Went to A-Basin today, day numero uno. other than the weather it sucked, there was only one lift and only one run and only 4 jibs open, but the landings were rutted out and it was so fucking crowded, wound up hiking the "park" all day. but there were some kids throwing down some fucking sick tricks. I got a sweet MJ so that was my highlight of the day haha.

snowing at eaglecrest, gonna try to head up this weekend and see what it's all about. if it's still there then i want to get a couple shitty turns in just to say i did ride in october again, but i plan on not riding till it starts to stack up.
