Day 1
Went over to a preseason spot my roommate knows about. There is a decent setup, and LOTS of snow. I took some footage of everyone hitting the features, and then I went hiking and got legitimate powder turns...so much fun. Small edit to come after riding today.
There may have only been this much in town:
but there was 2-2 1/2 feet in the trees up near the mountain...my board never touched anything but the powder.

and as we left the road got closed because it was dumping the whole time we were there

Hero 158--really starting to like this board now that I am in a decent weight range for it.Did a decent hike to ride some hot pow. Pretty damn fun! After that built a nice little pow booter. Hit it just to test out my knee and it held up, though it is sore after all this. Snow is starting to melt now, but there will definitely be a good amount left over to start the base for the season.

Day 104: Great end to the season, the snow was slow and sticky but it was good fun riding. First season of instructing was great.

Day 11 for me today, funnest day of the season so far even though most of it was in spring slush. Watched some bigdogs throw down in the park then carried on with my own wind the windows down thing.

ya, I thought I remembered that you hadn't been riding for all that long. Between the northern hemi winter and aussie winter how many days did you go?

that was it for the pics. shredded pretty aggressively. tons of bonks, taps and hilarious early season weak legged falls. sick snow, shredded trees, skree fields, you name it. only a couple sharky nips. wait time was 4 to 8 minutes at the longer lift and almost no existent on the other. got pow from 10:30 to 2:30 with a heineken mixed in. totally awesome day, but i may not ride again until Nov. 10 or so. dickteazz
got up at 5:30 and left eagle-vail at 6 -- drive there was pretty terrifying in a blizzard and it didn't light until 7:45 or so. took 4 hours going down. back in 3. terrific day.

i think Canada was 110 and then 104 in Perisher, so 214 in a calender year. -

JT, it turns out my homey from down here is now living up there too... holler at a dude named Delaney if you meet one... he's a shortish blonde dude.... it's gotta me small enough up there that you'll run into him... he was also telling me about some preseason riding going on up there.... EEEFFFFF i'm dying to ride!
