Late start but I managed to get a good hour split in, Alta is weird because there is a massive flat spot after the first series of lifts. If I'd wanted to go further I would probably have had to commit to another 1.5 hours of climbing at least. So I bailed, shredded a fun little line and went back to the house to dump snow gear/grab bike gear. Put in a 2000 ft climb on the mountain bike followed by an awesome fast descent.
Snow/bike in one day. Why the fuck would anyone want to live in Utah?

For sure! I seriously want to buy a house up there. Screw the south and the city. Mountain living is where it's at.

Could very well be last day of the season, unless I get a day or two this summer.
Got a babysitter, so wife and I got to ride together for the 1st time this season.
Good times, including a side trip to pound-town in teh trees. GREAT way to end the season ; )

Day 1 & 2.
Opening weekend. Crappy weather but it's nice to back on snow. First day on Ultrafear/Atlas, couldn't really feel much because of how heavy the snow was but I'm pretty happy with going down to a 51.
Rode the 1 lift open, then hiked a different part of the resort where we work.

ross, even though the snow/coverage was super poor, that was one of my funnest days of the year for me. We will shred more in the future.
so I was clearing memory cards and realized I had some clips that were still on there that I never used... so I put this together. One of the reasons I didn't use them before is because a bunch of clips are sloppy. Oh well. I miss snowboarding. Winter come soon.
