    Questions: WHERE YOU GET THESE!? They're only on ebay in a small (which to be honest, I could probably fit.) I like these more than this year's model. What size are those? The primaloft is removable, is that a liner?

    I just bought a L and an XL from Altrec for $100.

    I'm sending the L back as I want the XL.

    Also the liner isnt removable, it splits the mitten in haf so you just put your hand in either the "warm" side or the "grip" side.

    Those are so sweet. Debated forever between those and the Dakine mitts. Ended up with Dakine but these will definitely be my next mitts.

    Damn, that's a really good idea for the liner.
    How big is your hand for an XL? I have small burton gloves but my hands have fit well in friends' gloves and mittens of all sizes

    I've got really skinny hands but really long fingers. I was excited as Volcom is the only manufacturer that measures length of hand as opposed to width.

    I'm usually right between the L and XL sizes for gloves/mittens. The larges would have worked but I like the XL's a bit more.

    EDIT: waaaait, i just realized something, are the right and left mitt different? The right one have the volcom stone and the left one have the stripes of perforated leather?

    Just got mine, trust me, they're gonna be worth it.
    In normal gloves my hands always get ridiculously cold and the gloves usually leak and fall apart. The gore-tex, leather, and primaloft should insure that none of that will happen.
    PLus they're just overall rad

    yeah, made of nice leather + goretex, not basic synthetics and typical waterproofing, not that there's anything wrong with that.

    Just bought the BJL Wolf jacket from SnoCon for 50% off ($150). Apparently I stumbled into their minimally-or-unpublicized biggest sale of the year. Pretty much everything snow-related was 50% off. I was told that those discounts are available on-line, too?

    I got the jacket in an XL, and the fit is perfect! I normally wear XXL, but this XL is plenty long and wide enough through the shoulders. Fabric and construction are awesome. I just wish that it had all of the features listed on the tag! As far as I can see, there's no internal "tunes" pocket or recco antenna thingy. Not a huge deal, as I can carry my shit some other way, and I wear a transceiver when I'm not riding in-bounds.

    I can't wait to actually wear this thing!

    I tried on some other Volcom jackets (the "halfstone" and "highscraper", which are both Gore Tex) in XL, and didn't find the sleeves and body to be nearly as long as the BJL jacket. I'm 6'5" and about 240 lbs, so I generally need an XXL for length and shoulder width.
