Side note..A trucker went through the new Echo Bay bypass right into the bush...Missed a turn that wasn't marked on his gps...

When we release new versions of software, they always are subject to a "smoke test" before the release is made official.
A less stringent test is called a "puff test".My code just passed its smoke test and is ready for the initial release to production on Saturday.

"Smoke Test" has its roots in electrical engineering. When you build a circuit, the smoke test was t oapply power to the circuit. If you did sometihng wrong, a chip would overheat and start to smoke. The smell is, well, unique.
