Open the folder and long press on the top bar that says "Folder." It should bring up a dialog that lets you edit the title.shralp said: How do I name folders that I create?

Unfortunately there's no way to do that without rooting your phone. If you just simply don't want to see them anymore, you can download Launcher Pro Plus (paid, I know...) and set which apps you want hidden in the preferences. Otherwise, you can root your phone, download Titanium Backup (another paid app), and freeze the applications you don't want anymore. Deleting them will prevent OTA firmware updates from being pushed to your phone.lomax said: how do I delete all the crap apps that are on my damn stupid droid thing

The build quality seems substandard. They are really good phones, no doubt, but they just don't seem to hold up.pterodactyl said: Yes, can you explain why i have gotten that response from a couple different people?

Larry, whats your opinion on samsung vs. HTC?
Looks like i've now ruled the iphone out, and im either getting the Inspire or Infuse. -

launcher pro is awesome. Seems seamless, helps organize, gives more home screens, etc.

I think Samsung generally has a bit better build quality, although sometimes the phones feel a bit plasticky. I haven't had any experience with the Infuse, but I've generally disliked Samsung's UI in the past. For whatever reason, I've felt they've gotten bogged down too easily.
If you like the Infuse, you should spend some considerable hands-on time with it in the store. Call/text friends, browse the webs, play games...all that shit. If it keeps up with you and you like the experience, I'd say pull the trigger. Otherwise, I'd consider the Moto Atrix.

Thank you. Moto Atrix just doesnt do it for me camera and screen size wise. I get what you are saying about a plastic feel, i mean i would have a case on it, but i do get what you meanyouknowlarry said: I think Samsung generally has a bit better build quality, although sometimes the phones feel a bit plasticky. youknowlarry said: Just a comment on this: running a task killer on your Android device is counterintuitive to the operating system you're running. Android OS does a really good job allocating memory to front-running applications already, so a task killer isn't necessary at all; in fact, it gets in the way of what your phone is trying to do. Task killers also run in the background continuously so most people actually notice decreased battery life.

This is why I keep a body glove cover and a good screen protector on mine, because I am fairly certain that I would have destroyed it by now if I didn't.

build quality goes beyond that. their components are shitty

Regardless, I love my Incredible. I've had it for about a year, and I have had zero problems out of it.

yeah, despite the problems i had with my first HTC(s) i opted to get the evo shift over the samsung epic. took them three tries to get me a functional shift though. i would like it if sprint offered some motorolas

Have we discussed motorola durability? I just have the cheap silicon case on my Droid X and a clear screen protector, and my phone is near mint even after spendning 30 days in my pocket wilst playing snowboards this season.

I have the Droid X. No case, no screen protector. Just a minor nick on the corner from the handful of times I've dropped it on concrete/asphalt. The screen is completely unscathed.

Werd.
I still need to uninstall my app killer and maybe root my phone.
Will consult the droidxjedimasterlarry when the time comes.
Hey larry, I forget, but are you leaving Denver soon? Where you going next?
-

i don't use a case or a screen protector either. i have a tiny nick (not a jungle larry) in the screen from dropping the face directly on a pointy rock, but it's not noticeable unless you know where to look.

Jdmeg, have you had any issues with syncing your thunderbolt to your pc? I have and did a chat with htc, they referred me to a help center for more support.
Some people are reporting issues with the recent thunderbolt update too. Have you had any problems?

That's happened to me on my incredible. My messages reached over 1000 between all the different people and one day, my conversations was a blank white screen. -
