nah. maybe thats why. it was just me and my dad. we were on a series of college visits and stopped by stowe. neither of us had ever been there so we were purely on trails. there was about a foot of really heavy pow which probably contributed to the over all negative experience. plus my dad is not a fan of the trees and im not about to go into trees ive never ridden by myself. idk i just felt like every run on the entire left side of the mountain was identical and just way to boring. and then the other trails were just straight shots. idk ive just heard about how its so much better than stratton (where i ride the majority of the time) but i really didnt think it was all that great. i definitely prefer stratton, most likely because im used to it.

Funny, I was there on Saturday and it wasn't even that cold!

I'll be up there pretty regularly this season. I know my way around a bit from the three seasons I rode there while attending St. Mike's, but my former roommate has been getting 100+ day seasons for the last 8 years and REALLY knows his way around. If any of you are confident in your skills, like the trees, like to ride fast and don't like stopping, we should try to meet up on a pow day!

haha, indeed, and that's where you'd get to the destination: inebriation.

So after last nights storm Stowe is reporting 18" at the summit and 6" at the base. Now only if the temps stay low.

Great snow up top earlier this week- hike to ride FTW. Mid slope was icy man made shit. Bottom was fun slushy snow grass.
looks like it rained (even at altitude) today. ;: (
Look me up if you're gonna hit the smuggs side-

Tons of those but not going to give them away over a public internet forum. Ride the glades/trees...and bring a helmet...have fun... -
