The first board is a Never Summer SL 155, the second is a Sierrascope 156, and the last is the YES GDOH 156. It seems to be a 159 to me...what do you think?

i think the kicks don't come up as high as the other boards

Thought I'd throw down an update about this ish.

Rode the Yes. GDOh again today. Still a really fun board, super stable and fast. The edges are still awesome even after 40 - 45 days on it last season. I did notice today that it didn't feel as poppy as it did early last year. maybe iot was just me in the easrly part of the season but it didn't feel poppy; felt more flexible. But the edge hold still amazes me.

We are supposed to be getting most of the YES line into the shop this week. I'm real stoked to see all this years boards in person. I have a feeling I'm going to be wanting to add one of these to the quiver this year too.

I got the chance to ride a 2011 GDOH 159 (Lennon)... and it was pretty damn good. I had stepped on it at home on the wood floor and wasn't impressed, but the ride was good. It felt super light on my feet and I enjoyed it. Floated well in pow, good pop and carved fine. If I owned this board I'd be happy.

I demoed a 158 Great Beauties for half an hour last night at Hemel Snowdome. Absolutely loved it. Going to keep an eye out for a 160 next season.

Hemel suffers from a big icy section in the middle of the two kickers after a few hours and it definitely felt a lot more stable through this than my indoor survival. Felt nice and solid on the landings and was good and quick while bombing around. Surprised how light it was too.

Been riding this board as a rock board. (days when I know I may riding through shark infested areas) And surprised at how durable the base is. Many times I would hear the the base connect with stone and think it would be thrashed and only a scratch. I can confirm my previous thought of the board feeling more flexibe. Less ridgid.

The new one is the same as this board when it only had 20 days on it. Awesome deck. Stoked on trying to get a PYL as I want the freeride version of the dudes or boobs.

the pyl is nothing like the dudes or beauty's, I love the pyl though its just a completely different ride.

Wheely? It has camrock right? What would you say are the differences?

still love my einstein. it's my go to non-pow board. this used to be my gnu c2 btx danny kass but i haven't touched that board this season yet. i realize that i love narrower waist widths for non-pow

Non asym, more carbon and cevlar, taperd deck, with a longer nose than tail, stiffer tail, set back stance, more rocker in the nose than tail. The only similarity is the camrock. Wheely?

I knew those things other than the tail being stiffer.

Maybe a better way of saying what I said would be, 'I want to try a PYL cause it's the freeride version of my GDOH.' Meaning I like the camrock and the overall stability of the GDOH and want a freeride board like that.

pyl could be a super fun board.

i'm sure i mentioned it somewhere, but i rode the gdoh 54 on a preseason day where the end runout was groomed (it was getting close to opening day) and i liked it. i think in my normal size of 59 it would be a killer all-mountain fresh snow board, although these days i don't like rocker outside the bindings. it was super fun nonetheless and the flex felt perfect for me, even in the 54. still fairly firm feeling on the end of mid flex.

i really loved my original yes typo 58 at the time, felt nearly identical to my indoor in the same size. gdoh is what i'd ride though

I've got the 154 gdoh, & the pyl 156. I would still have to say the gdoh is more fun to ride all around. The pyl is most often going to be used for freshies, its still a fun board, but a bit more agressive than the gdoh

Demoed the PYL last week with NOW bindings. Felt totally different than the Tasmaniac (Aus version of the Greats, same board diff graphics). You can actually feel the camber on the PYL (I think it is 3mm vs 1.5mm on the greats) which is nice. The rocker is also more on the nose (7mm on the nose and 3mm on the tail according to Nidecker's site). Tail is also stiffer than the nose. My favorite board at the demos along with the Rossi Templar.
