the rain here has really got me debating digging out the bowls in Truckee tomorrow. I have been jonesing pretty bad. That or getting Sodder over here to help me build the 2 mini quarters I want to set up half the garage. -

This thread gets me stoked to go out and try and actually improve at skating. I've got a pretty limited bag of tricks... it includes...
1. (Very shitty) Ollie
And im working on other stuff...just you guys wait. I need to get a new set up first. I'm still riding this birdhouse complete when I got in 5th or 6th grade where the nose and tail are destroyed from anger/slams/more anger. It has also been left out in the rain one or fifteen times. Just a bit waterlogged. Oh well. Skating looks very fun though when you are good at it.

Brand new team pain concrete park just opened here about 2 days before winter set in and the snow stuck around. It's not Aspen but it's good either way. This is what they have finished so far but from what I understand they have plans to expand and do more. And we get to keep our old wood park too.

I got one shot of me in the miniramp here. The old park is good cause it's right next to a bunch of baseball feilds. There's not lights directly on it but in the summer the lights from the fields get it good enough to skate well past dark. Best time of the day to skate because it's not 90 degrees.

The name of the capital, Kampala, means "city on 7 hills" - the city clears out at night - and the lighting is ok on a few streets - we brought some longboards back after I went for holiday in CA... I'll post photos when we make the attempt.

I pushed to the mailbox and back yesterday, first time i'd stepped on a skateboard since like, september I think. Wasn't as rusty as I thought but then again I was never good to begin with.

those warhol decks look pretty cool. i agree the snowboards were a bust but i like the skate ones better. reminds me of my favorite graphic- the enjoi boards a few years ago with the neon presidents faces on them. those were sweet.

I want to get a new skateboard, and not much shocks me anymore, but seriously, $250 for a piece of wood that I'm going to snap in half in a couple weeks? I'll stick with my walmart deck. But a longshortboard may be in order sometime in the future.

expensive deck. unless youre talking in Canadian money.
decks here are usually 60 or 70 at the max. and thats with funky pop super special unbreakable wood stuff. i get most of my decks for around 40 or 50 -
