How tall are you? I'm 5'5 so my trail bike options are limited. I think that's part of the reason I've kept my Cannondale frame 10+ years, plus the geometry has a BMX feel to it. I know Titus makes some nice bikes that come in a XS frame and even a few that are XXS with a standover height around 26 inches

i am 4'11 5/8" tall. i'm not in the bike market right now, but i appreciate any knowledge you've got for the future!
pretty sure my cruiser was 26". that's about my max.

You'd be the perfect height for me...just sayin'. But seriously, the 26 inch refers to tire size not frame. My wife is 5'0 and her road bike is a 47cm and her mtn bike is a 14 inch, frame sizes respectively.

Abra those first to are beyond sexy and thank for making me feel better about having 3 bikes. People that don't ride can't understand having more than one.

We get from riding, working at hospital alot of non athletes have no clue, especially when they see me doing my "xmas tree look" for commuting (2 blinkers and a solid light). I usually go with the golf club analogy, "you wouldn't tee off with a putter, would you?"

Fixed gears are great in Snow/Wet weather as you have so much more control over your rear wheel - I always rode SS bikes on the road having come from a BMX/MTB Background, and didnt really know what a fixed gear was, until i was out in Telluride quite a while back, and some of the dudes there used them to get around town as they work so well in the snow - from then on i was hooked.

They used to be pretty rare in London, only couriers and older dudes who used them as w
inter trainers, but now you cant move for em - the East End of London, in Particular Hoxton/Hackney is our equivalent of Williamsburg, and you cant move for what we call HHSB . . .(Hip Hop Slave Bikes).

I built this one up specifically for riding in the wet/snow/mud - pictured here in it s summer mode with slick 28's on, its currently on Bontrager Jones 32c Cyclo Cross tires.

I would love to get my hands on one of these . . .

Liking the DMR's (?) with toe straps, must be insanely well attached to those pedals.

I've recently bought a '10 Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp ... pretty much equivalent to posting a shot of a Custom on a quiver thread, so I won't .... Just gone tubeless on it, will leave anything else to when the weather picks up.

I haven't driven my car in over two months. Goal is to keep it parked until mid-april when the mountain closes. Never really considered a bike as my main form of transportation before and especially not in the winter but i've kind of fell in love with it. Plus it makes me feel like a bad ass when I show up to work on it and it's dumping like a motherfucker outside, everyone's like what the hell are you doing man.

It was just the bolt that attatches the seat to the post. Easy fix but it kind of sucked riding the rest of the way into work standing up.
