   I am a brontosquatch...i.e. long hairy body.

    I have been in search of a new jacket for the season. One that is LONG and super waterproof and pretty lightweight.
   Originally I wanted an AK jacket. The team fit is supposed to be like the sigfit with 2inches added in Length, but they dont make very many jackets with the Team Fit and none that I liked.
   Other Options with the LONG body??? anybody know?
   all I know of is
   Airblaster makes longer jackets
   Atmosphere has the Long body
   Special Blend makes some long ones two.

   what to do....?

   got a love jacket from last season, thats pretty long too. but not really lightweight, i.e. not a shell or soemthing.

     i think the airblaster AK blaster jacket is reasonably long. but not burton love long. looks shorter than the parker too. i say parker.

    XL Parker jacket must be damn long, i am 5'10 and still undecided whether i will keep my L or pass it and look for M, its very long.

     The Airblaster AK Blaster from last season is pretty long. I got it in XXL, and I'm 6'5" with an average length torso for my height. It definitely covers up my sag, and I haven't had any problems with snow down my pants or any such. The XL was almost as long, but the shoulders were too narrow. If you were looking at the Burton AK line, this jacket has similar quality materials/breathability/waterproofing.

    I've also been impressed by the higher-end stuff in RIDE's softwear. I'm always looking for stuff that's long without being too wide (Analaog stuff and some Burton stuff is too wide for me). Their fit from last season was pretty good! I want to try on some Bond stuff. Haven't seen it in the shops here in Seattle yet.

    Personally, the Holden and L1 stuff isn't really my steez. I have heard that people who have stuff from either love it. Apparently it's very well made.

    Hmmmm .... good point. I actually haven't tried any Cappel on. I was thinking of their Admiral Jacket (20k/15k). I think that's the one that i tried on before i bought the Airblaster? If not, it was something similar. I actually had both in hand and had to decide before i went up to the register. The Airblaster one won out because it's waterproofing/breathability was a little bit better (and I liked the obnoxious color), but if I remember correctly, the fits were similar.

     for 2011 you need the jussi anorak dude, i'm 6'1 and it hits below the ass. goretex, light, wicked features (second collar zip allows you to keep nthe hood cinched how you like it, just unzip the 2nd one and flip the hood down)

     its rad man, when you're hiking you can unzip the side pull your arms out and wear it like a poncho. on the lift you can get your arm inside it to light your uhh cigarette. best jacket evar.

    You got it Lomax. I am 6'2" and wear an XL and the thing is huge. You may be able to pull off a large. You will not regret the purchase.
