Its been nuts lately,
Last week it was warm and nice and everything starting budding early, we already have tulips here. Today, it snowed in the morning and rained in the afternoon.
Mother nature is getting revenge for that warm spell in the middle of March.

Timberline has 18" of new snow in the last 48 hours.

so around noon jerms texted me (i was still asleep) and said it was snowing so hard at sea level that you couldn't even see across the channel from our house (we're a stones throw from the water), and now it's warming up and sunny. good old late spring in AK.
the snow line has remained fresh for weeks about half way down most of the mountains here, which means it's at around 1500-2000 feet most of the time. i think this post-season is gonna go for a long time..

25 degrees and 5" of new snow at Timberline when I checked this AM. Not bad for June 5th!
It got to 104F, tomorrow projected to be 106F
It's gonna be a long hot summer
Stevens Pass Bike park? They should be running lifts for snowboarders.
