After a warm and mild winter we have had a cold, wet spring here in the PNW. Farmers are complaining. I happen to appreciate that it isn't 90 degrees OUT.
Lately it's been 10-15 degrees below average. Our warmest day in 2010 was last weekend at 84 degrees, it was barely above average for us this time of year. I took a look at our temps since April 1st. Only 25% of those days have we hit our average temp or higher.

So far in NS the weather hasnt been too amazing. At the end of our winter closing day at my local hill was 21 degrees celcius. We havent gotten a ton of rain but the weather has just been gloomy. Been getting about 1 really nice too hot to work day a week.
Been a slow start for the summer in California as well. We've had a couple days that almost hit 90 but we've been cruising in the low 80's most of June which is nice. We're lucky in California as we primarily get the dry heat and my only cooling option is our swamp cooler which actually works pretty well up until the high 90's and above. The best thing is, we can run it all day everyday and it only bumps up our electrical bill $10-$15 a month.
The heat is coming though....it always does. My first year in this house it hit 113° in my backyard.....f'ing brutal.
When it gets hot, hot, hot on the west side of the Sierra and then tropical moisture moves in from the east, the Sierra's see some awesome electrical storms. They're epic and while they only very rarely reach down this far into the foot hills, if it's a big system the humidity does get down here and then the cooler is worthless. Definitely needs to be very, very dry for them work.

although the temp is very nice these days... we rarely get a pure, clear sky here in seoul. one of the very shitty things 'bout living here.

tomorrow - 28 C / 85%+ humidity / severe pop-up thunderstorms & possibility of hail the size of golf balls. I love me a good t'storm. But hail damage on the car will suck if the golf balls rain down.

yeah... 'bout 27 today. in summer humidity/mugginess is much more of factor. then comes fucking monsoon season... rains for 3-weeks straight.

the ski area is run by Indians, it sits on the Lincoln National Forest I belive
we have 103 today while Ruidoso has 85 degree weather right now

this past season was record snow for the place, they actually had a pow day or two...

CT has been way more humid than usual. hence, why i been going out commando more often.
supposed to be 93 here tomorrow. i am the best man at Chrispy's wedding, so i shall be in a tux...debating if i should freeball it or not.
we had a week or two hotter stretch that ended a couple weeks ago where it was in the high 70s and hit the mid 80s at the hottest point of some of the days, but lately its been in the mid 60s at best and at least mostly cloudy.. often it hasnt even reached 60, and is getting into the mid 40s at night, but its been dry most of the time so its nice for skating. i hate skating in hot weather... or being in hot weather. my definition of hot starts when it hits 70 and sunny.. but i think that canada/montana road trip last year bumped up my tolerance a bit, cause we spent most of the trip in 0ver 80 and it was like 90 the whole time in montana, and a few days were almost 100.

and this was when i was going golfing last august in montana.
