I've felt pretty ho-hum about the Gymkhana videos since the first one but the most recent one is badass. Shades of Bullit.

i saw a 458 italia today, first time seeing one in the wild
even cooler, i saw a gang of dodge magnums on patrol
the lead car had 30 inch spinners
how do i know they were 30 inch?
well, the license plate said "30 inch"
so i inferred
i wanted to snap a picture but was afraid one of his cohorts in one of the other magnums might cap me -

Haha I didn't think spinners were still cool with the DUB crowd? 30's are pretty impressive though, I think the biggest you can go on a Magnum without modifying the car is 24". Magnums are kind of a guilty pleasure car for me.
I went camping over the weekend and there was a site with a really clean VW Type 2 hooked up to a matching Boler trailer, both green and white two-tone. Mini Cooper parked in front, british racing green with the white top, rally lights and Superlites or lookalike wheels at least. It was awesome. The Mini sounded really healthy.

Just finished catching up with an E30 buddy of mine who lives in LA.
He just finished his E30 M3 project with an S54 engine, custom headers and exhaust, and CSL style intake. Said he pulled on an E39 M5 and an E92 M3 with exhaust by about 2.5 lengths from 80-125 mph. He drove me around in his worked S52 E30 when I lived down there a few summers ago and that thing was fast, can't imagine how scary this thing is. Should be around 310 whp/260wtq
He's gonna paint it Technoviolet as well. drool

His DD is this. Apparently it's getting a 5.3L V8 Vortex engine out of a Silverado with custom cams and nitrous lol.

Preferred method for entering the vehicle? Jumping over those massive running boards? Or did the designer assume only Batman would own one so they equipped grappling hook anchors in the cockpit?

did he keep the stock trans. or there's a e46 m3 6sp in there? -

i'm thinking of switching to home heating fuel instead of diesel in my f350. anyone have any experience with this? truck is the '10 with the 6.4 and yes i am aware that it is illegal.

I didn't ask him, but I'm going to assume he swapped in a brand new transmission. No way the stock E30 one can hold that much power.on another note.. I kinda like it rat'ish - unpainted as it is.
