Hahaha good luck with the lawsuit. The snowboarders had the whole thing on film, even the part where the old guy swung first.

harsh shit back in the day, nothing Rosa Parks or anything but since you asked....circa 1989- 1992 in the Poconos: having to pay full price for a lift ticket and only be able to ride a fraction of trails, countless numbers of obsenties yelled at me, people throwing stuff at you from the lifts ( you learned quick not to stop anywhere within throwing distance of the lift), having lift tickets pulled for "going too fast, but being in control" and/or having to watch safety videos...even though I rode the same way I skied, and on more than one occasion I had a skier swing poles at me. Whenever we went to VT specifically Stratton or Stowe, we had very few problems. Those first few years of riding I might only see 2-3 other riders a day (I used to go mostly on weekdays). By 93-94 things were better and the crap really got scaled back, except we still couldn't ride at Blue Mtn and Camelback still had restricted trails ('til atleast '97) and had a very unfriendly vibe towards riders...I still won't go there 'til this day because of the bullshit we had to put up with. When Blue opened up (97?), they decided to allow snowboarding on March 1 'til the end of the year. We had a big crew go up from my old shop, atleast 20 people (eployees and customers) and it didn't take long for the mountain to figure out how much potential lift tickets they were missing, the following year we were allowed from day one, no restrictions.
