So after spending the last three falls and two springs squatting in my aunt and uncle's beach house at the Jersey short (not that one, waaaaay south and waaaaay better), I finally convinced them to stop renting it out by the week in the summer and let me live there year round, renting it by the month. So in April, I'll be moving there permanently. Beach house all to myself all summer long, pretty excited about it. My budget is going to be tight, but I can deal with it when the beach is 10 blocks away. Also trying to get some freelance writing gigs for a little extra spending money. I'll post pictures when I go back down in a couple months. It's full furnished and decorated, but it's not over-the-top beach-housey, it's nice. Excited.

Finally starting to get my mancave organised. Here are a few photos:
Shredboard storage
Shredclothez storage
Room to change into/out of shred gear and keep the mud & snow out of the rest of the house
I also set up a tuning bench in the outdoor shed.
I'm only renting this place, but I really dig all the storage options. Shed, gear room (basement) and spare room. I almost feel like a grown up now that I don't have to keep bikes/boards in the living room or kitchen.

i love it there. its pretentious, but if you know what you're getting into when you go out, it's still fun. the only thing that sucks is it's crazy expensive. the princeton is my choice spot, but it's $5.75 for a miller lite bottle... pregaming is smart, it's not just something you do in college. if you're ever down that way, stop by for a burger and a beer.
and no, i haven't. i honestly don't go out a ton because i'm an hour or so away from most of my friends and its expensive most places, but this summer will be different. ill check it out. i love me some scallops
