nothing on the bay right now... all the usual online sites have them at the same price $70...
it's only my inner lens that's crack - about 1.5" long starting from the bridge going straight up... it's annoying but not unusable... so i might just run 'em as is, unless the crack spreads or they start fogging badly...

I picked up a pair of Splices this weekend and am looking for a good price on a H.I Yellow as well. I bought the Fire lens for sunny days and it came with a Persimmon, but not the H.I. Persimmon. I couldn't get US Outdoor to let me pay the $30 difference to swap the Persimmon for the HIY.
Anybody think it's NOT worth buying a H.I. Yellow and think I should just use the Persimmon? I really don't know Oakley lenses well, this is my first pair in a long time.

they are in pretty good condition. a few scratched here and there, but nothing that obstructs view. they are about 2 years old, and i never really wear them.

I used persimmon only forever and finally got a "quiver" this year. H.I. Yellow PWNZ Persimmon in low light. I personally wouldn't buy multiple lenses for one frame because I hate switching them, but if that floats your boat then you'll probably be very happy with the difference in visibility for the price. -

Thanks Ado, that's what I wanted to hear. Whether or not there was a noticeable difference. Hood is notorious for low vis, so a good low light lens is essential. Sounds like this one's worth it......

I wear a yellow lens in my crowbars during flat light days at Meadows and it is 100x better than my fire lens. Still have a hard time seeing bumps in the snow some days (especially in Heather canyon). I believe Hood may have some of the worst light issues I have ever encountered while riding. The sky and snow just seem to meld together some days.

i think i am gonna start rocking clear at night, and a hi yellow for overcast. hi yellow fucks with my eyes too much under the lights.

I think I'll see if the shop I bought them from, will give me 20% off a HI yellow. I think they will, they gave it to me on the goggs and fire lens.
BTW, I wore them for the first time today. Kick ass goggle and sooooo comfy.

hi yellow and hi persimmon own hi pink and regs persimmon. hi pink gives you lots of reflection of your own face which hi per. doesnt. hi yellow is just better when its so over cast.
