Can anyone compare the celtek trippin' mitt and the grenade DK trigger mitt pro model? Really a big fan of firearms while snowboarding so I wanna get the better of the 2 next season.

Love Celteks. Had a few pairs over the past three years. Great product, looks rad, fantastic customer service.

However, I am a little wary of just how dramatically they're lowering prices. I think they only have a couple gloves in the under-$60 range and are mostly in the $75+ range. Sounds like they're going to have a lot more in the "pricepoint" category next year. I hope it doesn't involve cutting corners, cutting features, or generally lowering quality.

I had some 09 Outbreak Winter gloves that I warrantied because one of the zippers for the handwarmer pocket popped off the teeth. I'm less stoked on the 2010s replacement pair they sent me. They retail for a bit less (went from $89.99 to $82.99) but they went from real leather to synthetic, lost some insulation, and just don't quite have the same dexterity and feel to them. I also think the 09s look way more rad, but I'm more concerned with the construction. I just hope it's just that glove and not indicative of a larger trend to economize.

If they can maintain their past level of quality at significantly lower prices, you can bet your ass that I'll be on board.

Hmmm, ive never strayed far from my Dakine gloves but my last pair are basically shot after last season. Time to move on. Seems like people here like Celtek. Their designs are interesting to say the least. Im looking more functionality/durablity though. The Faded look pretty solid. Im pretty new around here but i imagine that this topic has been beaten into the ground. Any detailed opinions on what Celtek has to offer? Thanks.

a few seasons back their sizing was kind of off..since then they've dialed that in much better and have some excellent product. my personal favorites are the clan winters, outbreak springs and sled dogs from this past season.

As i said before ive usualy used Dakine gloves but their durability has been an issue for me. Besides Celtek, what are some other often overlooked glove companies for me to check out?
