Not a "what I'm listening to" at all, but was hoping somebody here could offer some advice. I just picked up my first record player yesterday (second-hand) and am pretty stoked on that.
However, when the guy showed me how to use it at his place it sounded just fine. Plenty loud and I could tell his receiver wasn't turned up all the way.
When I hooked it into my receiver this morning to try it out it seems to play properly but I have to have my receiver turned up literally to max volume to be able to hear it, and it's nowhere near as loud as I'd want it to be during rockin' out times.
Any suggestions? It's a very basic player with a plug-in and RCA connections as the only cords. No volume adjustments that I can find anywhere.
(Receiver is a Pioneer VSX-820-K, player is a RCA LAB-1200)
