my internship ends this week and I could not be happier.
My intern was keen to have a look around the mine before he finished, so I organised a tour with a friend of mine today. We got to see a blast from up close (1500 feet, as close as you'll ever get) which is a very rare thing. Explosives are fuckin' awesome.
That little shovel next to it is about the size of two 2-storey houses. Boom!
On another note, first leg of the interview today, lets see how this goes...
