on a good not, some jackass at the wedding we handled this weekend got shitfaced and decided to hike up the Beav at 11pm, he was too drunk to find his way down to the giant fucking hotel with all the lights on that he built himself a campfire and slept the night on the mountain, dumb
That's so awesome! I can't think of a mountain harder to get lost at than the Beav.....I wonder if he ever thought of just turning around and going back down the hill?
That said, the patrollers at BV say that in all the years the ski resort has been there out of all the search and rescues for people who have skied out of bounds there has only ever been one guy to realize he was lost. This guy actually turned around and started following his tracks back to the resort. The funny thing is....this guy was 17 years old and had down syndrome.
