Ultrafear sold. Bump
Price on Bindings???
the charlie still going? was that 150 for it? if so ill take it!!
im in australia, ill pay the shipping should be around 50 buks.
shipping a snowboard to AUS from america is more like $250-300+ with any carrier because of the size, and USPS won't even do it because their AUS size limit is 42" with priority. a snowboard box for something this size is gonna be around 62-63" if it's cut small.
shipitto.com will send it for 55buks. calculated with a board inside a squashed snowboard box heavily taped.
can you ship it to them? in:
torrance, ca 90503
hawthorne, ca 90250
tualatin, 0r 97062
or las vegas?
what dimensions and weight did you come up with? i tried it and got about twice that price, using the size/weight of what a charlie 58 roughly measures up to when packaged (i've shipped one, as well as many other boards in that size range)
i also don't know how companies like this can do it. this one in particular is just an international freight forwarder as far as i can tell, but they don't have their own shipping company so you're still using fedex, ups, usps, etc. how could it be so much cheaper through shipito, even though it's using the same shipping companies you'd use on your own? does anybody know?

I've had four boards, one was a Charlie 58, sent to Melbourne from Utah and none cost over $100AU to send. The cheapest was $75
Who ever Milo use. Can't remember, may have been Fed Ex.
they would have an account and maybe some sort of cheaper option then, so that makes more sense. i need to find an international shipping hookup...

from what i can work out they must send in bulk. it does take around 2 weeks or more sometimes so i guess they gather a bunch in one of their 5 warehouses and ship when they are full . the cheap quote came from TNT shipping at 70 so not as cheap but im trying other sites. https://www.inccontact.com/client/shipito/shipping_calculator.php

All depends on the type of account you have and the volume. The company my wife works for (small company but decent volume) has a UPS account and the rates are way cheaper than shipping on my own. I use my wife's work account all the time and then we reimburse them. Love it.
I just bought a new bike frame and the shop wanted $60 to ship the frame to me because that was the actual UPS rate they got. I emailed them my own label and it was only $23 and $8 of it was insurance. I used the same weights/sizes they provided me.
Also, I've shipped to Canada before with my wife's work acct. Was dirt cheap. You just have to keep the declared value below $24.99. $25 and higher and the duty fees are nutzo.
oops, sorry i haven't been here for this whole conversation. I'd be willing to ship it to you if you pay shipping. although, it's not 150, it'd be 210 plus the shipping
