I'll be at Beaver Creek and/or Vail a week from today for a few days. I know conditions are sort of bleak, but I've seen reports ranging from passable to dismal. My wife's sister lives there, and my in-laws will be there. I'm sensing some momentum in a campaign to keep my wife and I off the mountain, the underpinnings of which are poor conditions. So, I'm looking for some man on the streets perspective. Just how shitty is, or isn't it right now?

Thanks, I'll be curious to hear. If Copper and/or A Basin are holding up better we may drive that way. Sounds like it's all varying degrees of turd polish, but it is what it is. Did you take the Sherlock?

Xander and I just got back.
It's typical spring conditions, there are some places where rocks and dirt are showing through, but there's definitely some places where you can have fun.Vail was fun, I'd go there over Beaver Creek.
The picture of BC that someone posted above is Rose Bowl, I think? And that was by far the worst place condition wise at BC.

^^^^Yep, I agree. The coverage is pretty good, def some bare spots on runs, but really good coverage on others. The park was too slow and soft for pretty much anything, but others mtns might have a better layout.
Ya I brought the Sherlock. It's a really fun board and a really good park board.
