Damn Contra, that house is terrible. You should be so happy you didn't get it. Now you are open and available to find an even better house. Seriously though, I am sure it was not meant to be. that is a cool house, but there are other fish in the sea.

we didn't get it. damn! we were really in a lose/lose situation but i'm honestly surprised that they rejected our offer. so instead of being worried that we overpaid, we are bummed that it won't be ours. here are some pics because i think the house is so cool and well done from a design perspective.

This one is actually in Denver proper in kind of an older neighborhood. We hadn't really looked at any houses in Denver proper and this one just popped up. It is on the border of Denver and Lakewood and technically the address is Denver but when I look at a map the border runs along Sheridan and the house is a little west of there.

YEAHYA!!!! Nat and I also just put an offer on a house. We are kind of back and forth on it. We are trying not to fall too in-love with anything but now both of us are saying "is this it??? What the HELL are we doing!?!?" I understand the brain comment fully.

looks great lumpy, very nice. Jen, same to you, looks amazing. Started the summer list of renovations for the house, new bathrooms floors in both, car port (really just oversized shred storage), better bathroom lighting for Mrs S, better outdoor lighting, new front steps..............should keep me busy.

New floor in the laundry room and new appliances. I also have cabinets on the other wall that I painted and put new hardware on, but I didn't take a pic of those.

Been doing lots of work to the house since I got back in it, including remodeling my laundry room and my dining room... First picture shows the new dining room floor and table, and the second is the floor and the matching serving station. Can't wait to have some dinner parties!

Finally got rid of our old couch. It was a good couch, but it's always been too large and sort of awkward in our living room. Replaced it with the movie sofa from CB2 and we're very happy.
